MASS – Intelligent Pigging (i-Pigging)
Pipelines are the most economically viable mode of transport for oil and gas companies. However, the viability is dependent upon the continuous operation of the pipeline without any unplanned shutdowns. Intelligent or smart pigging allows the pipeline operators to inspect the pipeline for anomalies like corrosion, metal loss, dent etc. without stopping the flow. Intelligent or smart PIG (Pipeline Inspection Gauge) uses sensors like Magnetic Flux Leakage or Ultrasonic to identify the anomalies. In case of long pipelines intelligent pigging is the only viable method to efficiently operate the pipeline.

Machine Learning (Pipe ML)
Accurate identification of the anomalies and their features like location and depth is critical for efficient management of the pipeline. Our machine learning models provide the robust base required for high probability of identification and better classification of anomalies. The analysis software comes with specially designed and trained machine learning libraries that evolve with the pipeline age. Pipeline operators can also combine multiple pig runs from the past to compare the trend of the anomalies in the pipeline. With predictive models, operators can take more informed and proactive decisions.
Pipeline corrosion map
Our intelligent pigging system provides pipeline corrosion map covering each pipe section with superimposed view of the anomalies. The operator can view the inspection report with multiple visualizations and filters to easily understand the scale of corrosion.
Inspection analysis
The software also provides inspection analysis tools for analysts. These tools provide access to advance data processing and analysis functions e.g. signal filters, diagnostics, custom data drilldown and more.
Field report
The essence of the identified anomalies is drafted as a field report that can be accessed through a laptop or a tablet. It provides access to all identified features and anomalies categorized into critical and non-critical.
Feature dictionary
As the pipeline ages or encounters an external influence, the anomalies generated are similar in nature. However, the gradual change is unique for each pipeline. Feature dictionary is the database of all known and unknown features encountered in the pig runs.
